Each of Marcos-González paintings has been painted during many months by the air, the sun, the water, the soil and the wind of a Mediterranean garden; by the iron’s blood, which has left its heritage shaped in unique and non repeatable oxidations, and by her fine and imaginative hand, which contributes the results of long years of a silent and lonely research of a personal artistic language, in a magic explosion of creativity.
Each work is therefore exceptional in its own strict meaning.
Through the iron alone... the iron associated with painting and, later, blended with the canvas and the colours, the artist’s ideas are put forth, purified to the utmost until they become the essence of the legends created and brought to life in her imagination.
